Health Information Policy
Updated May 16, 2026
Cherry Club is a doctor-led preventive wellness club. Even before we offer clinical services, the health information we publish on this Site is held to the standards below.
Editorial principles
- Accurate & actionable. We write to inform and to help readers make better decisions about their own health.
- Plain language. We avoid jargon. If we use a clinical term, we define it in the same paragraph.
- Evidence-based. Claims about disease, screening, nutrition, and prevention are grounded in peer-reviewed literature or established US clinical guidelines (USPSTF, CDC, AHA, ACS, ADA, etc.). We cite sources at the end of articles.
- Inclusive. We use words and imagery that reflect patients of all ages, races, genders, and abilities.
Who reviews our content
Editorial content with health claims is reviewed before publication by a US-licensed physician on the Cherry Club team. Where the topic crosses a specialty boundary (cardiology, oncology, endocrinology), we invite a board-certified specialist to review.
Marketing copy vs. health information
Brand and marketing copy on the homepage and manifesto is editorial, not clinical. It expresses our point of view about preventive health and does not constitute medical advice. See Medical Disclaimer.
Disclosure of financial interests
If a Cherry Club contributor has a financial interest in a company, product, or technology mentioned in a piece of content, that interest is disclosed within the piece. We do not accept payment to recommend products. See Advertising & Sponsorship Policy.
Corrections
When we publish something inaccurate, we correct it and log the change. See Corrections Policy.
